MAIN STAGE
Is coffee just a drink – or a symbol of connection?
Is love as intense as an espresso, or as gentle and layered as a latte? In this unique talk, a writer, a ceramic artist and a barista will intertwine literature, handcrafted ceramics and the aroma of coffee into a story about love, intimacy, and everyday rituals.
For one hour, we’ll explore how morning rituals and shared coffees shape the stability of our relationships, how small things – like a coffee stain – can trigger bigger conflicts, and what different types of cups might actually symbolize.
📖 Ivan Jozić will read excerpts from his books Atlas of Stains and Morning Coffees, drawing us into a world of emotions and life’s small (and big) dilemmas.
💬 Filpa Sorko, founder of ChiaCups – handmade dotted ceramics – will share her perspective on how objects we use every day tell quiet stories.
☕ Barista Mia Miljeković will guide us through the preparation of various types of coffee, turning each brew into a sensory experience.
🎤 Bonus: An interactive segment with the audience – share your coffee stories and join the conversation!
Come, listen, sip – and maybe discover whether your love is more like a strong espresso or a creamy cappuccino.
In addition, you’ll be able to enjoy a mini exhibition of coffee-themed prints by academic painter Vida Meić and writer Ivan Jozić.
