Coffee, Love, and Stains – Stories of Life in a Grain of Espresso

Ivan Jozić

11.04.2025.

18:30 -19:30

MAIN STAGE

Is coffee just a drink, or is it a symbol of relationships? Is love as intense as an espresso or as gentle and layered as a latte? In this unique conversation, a writer, a barista, and a relationship expert will intertwine literature, psychology, and the aroma of coffee into a story about love, intimacy, and everyday rituals.

Over the course of an hour, we will explore the significance of morning rituals and shared coffee moments in maintaining strong relationships, how small things—like a coffee stain—can trigger bigger conflicts, and what different types of coffee can symbolize in romantic partnerships.

📖 Ivan Jozić will read excerpts from his books Atlas Mrlja and Jutarnje kave, immersing us in a world of emotions and life dilemmas.
💬 A relationship expert will provide psychological insights into relationship dynamics and the importance of shared rituals.
A barista will prepare different types of coffee, revealing what they can symbolize in the context of love and relationships.

🎤 Bonus: Interactive segment with the audience – share your own coffee stories and join the discussion!

Come, listen, taste – and perhaps discover whether your love is more like a bold espresso or a creamy cappuccino.

Additionally, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a mini exhibition by Vida Meić, who uses coffee and graphic techniques to create unique abstract artworks.
